The Morning Sun is beating down on my face as I sit on my Best Friend and her husbands patio as I write this post. And I am enjoying every little warmth of that sun until it 'disappears' with winter in Minnesota.
Loving all the fall colors, Autumn makes my heart so happy. Hence laying in the green grass yesterday surrounded by harvest gold leaves and my best friends dog Searge'(isn't that a cool name:)
Listening to Shut up and Dance by Walk the Moon on repeat.
Thinking often of someone I left behind in Austin, wishing that person was here to rediscover home with me.
Playing obsessively with my new iphone. Yes, the 4S has officially been retired after the last drop and cracks. He served his purpose well after losing my old phone in the back of a late night cab ride.
Falling Asleep to The Lively Show Podcast, How to Get out of Fear and Back into Flow + Alignment with Gabby Bernstein. Agreeing with most of her insights about 'Taking action from a surrendered place' and 'Where your attention goes your energy flows'. But, Healthy-ly disagreeing with her thoughts on the Misconception of Pain having purpose. I will save that debate for a later date:) But, a little reminder of how we need to use our gut to discern information we come across.
Reading, Calling in 'The One' by Katherine Woodward Thomas (another Lively show find). Great Book, though it is recommended to be read within a 7 week period. I do a couple sections a night and follow-up with the insight the next day with My Morning Pages writing exercise. Another little reminder to find what works best for you:)
Enjoying my new Kate Spade agenda book and realizing life is far easier for me when I make lists and write things down.
Waiting anxiously to here about my possible job promotion.
Savoring all the catch up time with my Best Friend. Love having her so close and all her home cooked meals. Another bonus is seeing the example of a well matched couple. I love her and Jon's relationship.
Making small personal goals to become healthier again. My two years in ATX set me back a bit. Too much good food, friends and Drink:) Got me out of some healthy habits and a 20 pound gain. Hey, though my jeans are snug as a bug and my face has puffed up a bit. It could be worse:) and I am catching it at the right time. Where some exercise, healthy eating and moderation with alcohol can fix. Also some kind self-talk won't hurt as well.
