Merry Christmas Friends. My little list of random currents in this chilly, yet charming holiday season.
Being grateful for being home for the holidays. Enjoying the Snow and Christmas lights glistening under that blanket of white. The sound of snow blowers digging us out. Seeing giant plows heading down the road. Hearing a random Christmas song on Cities 97 while driving to work. Ah the familiar feels so good.
Listening to a lot of old Music lately inspired By my Best guy Friend Jeff and I's 20 something mix tapes:) A lot of Boy's Life, The Appleseed Cast and Promise Ring. I also have been reviving my own love for Snow Patrol. The Chasing Cars and Just Say Yes songs on repeat. Chasing Cars was my ex-husbands and I's song. A much needed reminder as of late that I once was loved and Just Say Yes also a reminder to be always hopeful for the Yes's in my life. *The Ed Sheeren version of Chasing Cars with Gary Lightbody is my current go to.
Missing my Daddy, Stepmom and Baby Brother in Alabama. So, Grateful for their Christmas Love from miles away.
Praying daily for the lonely individuals this Christmas season, missing loved ones gone or needing healing of old wounds. I often reflect on one of my favorite quotes by St. Teresa of Calcutta, "The Most terrible poverty is loneliness and feeling of being unloved." Is there anyone you need to reach out too? Do it this holiday season. It will be the best gift you could give to someone who feels unloved or lonely.
Enjoying my Best Friend Tina and I's time together after all these years of living so far apart. Love our endless conversations, catching up with lost time like we were never apart:)
Doing my SoulCore workouts daily and being amazed how strong I am.
Losing 10 plus pounds focusing on health even in the Holidays. Choosing the high road in what I consume and portions. And how drinking water is never a bad thing.
Rocking the Hitchcock blonde again and learning the magic of tightline instead of the traditional eyeliner. It is so fun to be a girl sometimes and thanks to my friends at work for reminding me of that. Heart you all.
Wrapping gifts during Christmas is the Bomb. I could do it all day. Wait I do:)
Laughing at myself at how dramatic I can be sometimes.
Looking Forward to spending the Holidays in my Hometown with loved ones.
Hoping for a continued New Year of Love, creativity and Joy. I have a feeling 2017 is the Best yet to come:) for you as well.
See you next year!
