I know. I know. Holy buckets, she made some pages. I was on a baby bit burnout after creating the class. *Speaking of class, I think they are ready to launch it soon!! I will of course keep you all posted. Now enough about that. I do hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I am trying to keep up on your posts to see:)
Ours turned out fabulous. Low-key and food feasting abounding for sure. One thing I am giving thanks for is the reminder that things do not have to perfectly as planned... I attempted once again my grandmothers baked corn. A bit on the dry side. But, it was just worth it getting the chance to hold that shaky hand written recipe card of hers. Feeling that connection to her on a day where she is on my mind.
Staying home turned out to be a good choice as much as I missed my Mom. She ended up having a rough time with her treatment (Nope she does not get thanksgiving off of that, I truly wish she could of to say the least). Overall it went well, but this new rounds first days exhaust her. As much as I wanted to see her, it was best that she could just go home and rest. Not have to worry about entertaining.
In the end reflecting today, while creating my pages. I felt at peace knowing this year was truly a celebration of giving thanks and eating so much I passed out with ease when bed-time hit.

I do hope you have a good Black Friday and weekend friends! Now I am ready to go veg some more:)
