Gwyneth Inspired.

The first time I saw Stella & Dot's defining Statement piece for the FALL collection- The Pegasus Necklace. I thought instantly of Gywneth Paltrow. It's so bold yet simple. A striking bib of intricate gold feathers hand sewn to silk organza cascade.  Made entirely by hand in India. It has a pretty price of $198.00. One thing I adore about Stella & Dot is the opprotunity to get statement pieces like this complimentary with hosting a Trunk Show of 1000.00 or more. I know that sounds steep, but most shows Hostesses earn that easily with 10 or more guests. This is why I love this company so much, the Creative Brain Child behind Stella & Dot's Design's Blythe Harris is amazing. Her combined design background with her love of finding inspiration from the past and places. She truly creates Jewelry Stories in my opinion that are unmatched by any other direct sale jewelry companies or in house ones at that. Embracing are inner eclectic selves while pushing the envelope of convention oustside. Hey every "ordinary" Women deserves to feel alittle empowered and creative. Why not do it with a statement piece? 

Speaking of empowered and creative. This why I chose Gwyneth for this post! Her personal style so encompasses that and I am also so excited for her new partnership with Coach this Fall! Look at these fabulous previews of her Ad Campaign with them! Oozes American Chic at it's best!

New Style~Across the pond.

I had so much fun keeping track of Duchess Catherine and Prince William on there first official trip abroad together. Visiting Canada and The U.S! I just adored watching for what fashion choices she made. She has such great sense of Modern Style and no fear of ready to wear and recycling her wardrobe. I love how conscious they both are of not be excessive and reminding us that Money does not buy style nor class. I chose three of my favorite outfits based on something she does lack at times the boldness to accessorize. I am sure the more comfortable she becomes with her new role as Duchess. The jewels will start appearing. I can see her taking a nod from Will's mother on enjoying statement pieces that our costume as well as the real thing. Here is a few picks in honor of Stella & Dot also adventuring across the "pond" to Britain. 

The first style story above I chose Juliette Gem Drop earrings to reflect the light grey lilac in her evening gown and for the day time look I thought it would be a great way to bring focus to her beautiful face! I stayed away from adding more because they lovely earrings just enough without overwhelming. The Second Story is my favorite dress from the trip! I just adore the Kelly Green. It is so classic! I went with the La Coco Collection Curbchain in Gold as the base. It would look fab wrapped twice or left hanging long. I added for some modern contrast the After the Rain Brooch in Gold. Lastly to not overwhelm  The essential ball earrings in gold. What a fun styling subject:) I could do these all day:) What were your favorites from the royal tour? Loved to hear! Love, C.

One Sweater and 3 Looks.

I know you must be thinking I have lost my mind thinking of sweaters when it as HOT as it has been this week in my neck of the woods. It has been hotter here then in the amazon and I am not kidding:) Record breaking, but heat and humidty does not bother this Florida reared girl. And Autumn sweater wearing is just around the corner.... and Stella & Dot's Statement jewelry pieces for Fall make me even more excited for cooler weather! We all know by now I have been a sweater set girl since high school and picked my fall season's favorite pick J.Crew's classic cashmere set in Heather Caramel. Turquoise and Caramel in my book looks divine together. 1. The Marchesa Statement Necklace and Studs are so classic with a major twist of bold. My all-time favorite of this Marchesa Story. 2. I heart the Second Option. The Jacqueline Necklace, the coffee stone and brass combination. Rough but discreet. Delightful combination. I paired it with the ever classic soiree earring studs in gold. 3. Last but never least this season, the Astor Five Strand Necklace with the Tudor Studs. I am not one for purple, but this set makes me just feel royal and decadent!!!
